Hamden Regional Chamber Nonprofit Council

The Hamden Chamber’s Nonprofit Council is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the work of nonprofit members.

Meets the first Monday of each month at 5PM at Best Video, 1842 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT.

The Council stregthens non-profits by empowering them to better achieve their missions. These efforts help nonprofits amplify their impact on the community.

The Nonprofit Council accomplishes its mission with:

    1. SUPPORT & RESOURCES
      Offering training, workshops, and educational resources to help nonprofits improve their operations and effectiveness.
    2. ADVOCACY
      Representing the interests and needs of nonprofits to policymakers, funders, and the broader community.
    3. NETWORKING
      Facilitating connections and partnerships amoung nonproift organizations, as well as with businesses, government agencies, and other statekholders.
    4. COLLABORATION
      Encouraging joint initiatives and collaboarative projects to address community issues and maximize resources.
    5. CAPACITY BUILDING
      Helping nonprofits enhance their capabilities in areas such as governance, fundraising, marketing, and program development.
